Showing patients there teeth on your computer screen reveals to them old restorations, wear facets, recurrent decay, poor contour and periodontal and hygiene issues. It gives you and the patient a good idea of the direction of the treatment plan. Plus, patient quickly forget what their teeth looked like prior to restorative work.
